A Message from Theresa LePore, Chair

We began the new year with the third of our "Lunch & Learn" Program Series at the Marriott WPB.  Leah Miles of Miles2Go presented "Loving Yourself as a Superstar in 2010!".  We had a great turnout and I think that all who attended KNOW that they are a Superstar!

We have been working on several other events to raise funds for our Scholarship Program.  Speaking of our Scholarship Program...the Women's Chamber Foundation raises funds each year so that we are able to award scholarships to not only graduating female high school students, but also to women who are want to optimize their lives through higher education.  The  Scholarship Application is on our website...click here to download!  Our Annual Scholarship Luncheon is scheduled for June 10th.  WCF Board Members Margo Kohlhoff (Carl Domino, Inc.) and Jennifer Rodriguez (First Southern Bank) are the Co-Chairs.  We hope to see you at this WCF Signature Event of the Year!

We have another fundraising activity that DOES NOT cost you anything!  It is when you use www.goodsearch.com which is a Yahoo-powered search engine that donates half its advertising revenue, about a penny per search, to registered charities.  It has a sister site, www.goodshop.com, is an online shopping mall which donates up to 37% of each purchase to charities.  The Women's Chamber Foundation is listed as "Women's Chamber of Commerce - Palm Beach County - PBC (West Palm Beach)".  Start searching and shopping now...every penny raised goes towards our Scholarship Program!
